KAMASUTRA
SOLO EXHIBITION BY MOHAMMAD ABDALLAH
By JAH Art Gallery
JAH Gallery is proud to present Kamasutra, a solo exhibition by Lebanese contemporary artist Mohamad Abdallah, featuring a new body of paintings that explores secrecy, desire, memory, and the psychological tensions embedded within human experience.
In this series, Abdallah investigates the hidden spaces within painting, where distant histories, forbidden emotions, and unspoken narratives emerge through layered abstraction and expressive visual language. Built through overlapping fields of color, fragmented lines, and spontaneous gestures, the works unfold as emotional landscapes suspended between revelation and concealment. The canvas becomes a site where transparency and density coexist in a continuous dialogue.
Within these compositions, desire and fear, silence and expression, religion and repression intersect, forming complex psychological layers that reflect the fragility and vulnerability of the human condition. Through Kamasutra, Abdallah transforms painting into an abstract trace of secrecy where a reflection of what remains is difficult to articulate, suspended between tension, anticipation, and disappearance.
This exhibition marks an important moment in Abdallah’s artistic journey and reflects JAH Gallery’s commitment to supporting contemporary artistic voices from Lebanon and the wider region.
Exhibition Dates: June 11 – July 30, 2026
